This legislation expands the VA caregiver support program to all eras of service (not just post-9/11), increases caregiver stipends to match local living wages, provides respite care, and offers health insurance coverage for caregivers who are not otherwise insured.

The concept is sound but costs may be significantly higher than estimated based on my analysis.
